Aletheia is a Greek word meaning revelation, in the sense of truth revealing itself. It seems to be an adequate concept to describe photography. Indeed, it is my belief that good photography shows us something heretofore unknown about one of the three major components of a photograph: the subject, the photographer, or ourselves as observer. Of course, while photographic luminaries such as Helmut Newton, Ansel Adams, Martin Parr, Herb Ritts, William Eggleston, Anton Corbijn and so many others routinely reveal things about all three, I am already quite content when I believe I have managed to show something interesting about one of the three.

I apply this to personal projects as well as to orders of any photographic nature. Any and all inquiries for collaboration sent through the contact page will be enthusiastically considered.
